Cream Sweater and Plaid Scarf

I recently did a poll on Instagram asking if you guys want to see more Thanksgiving outfit ideas. Everyone who voted said yes, so I’m going to share several outfit options here and on Instagram throughout the next week! I like to be very comfortable on Thanksgiving, so an oversized sweater and leggings are pretty much my ideal outfit. Add a scarf or statement jewelry if you want to spice things up a bit. This sweater is the perfect length for leggings and it’s on sale for $53. Links below!

Suede Skirt

You guys, Thanksgiving is so close I can taste it. Pumpkin pie and all you can eat turkey are calling my name. With the holidays approaching, I wanted to post some outfit inspo for you guys. Personally, I’m the kind of gal that wears leggings and oversized sweaters to Thanksgiving meals, but I know some of you folks are more formal. This outfit would be great for a nicer Thanksgiving dinner. I also think this would be a great look for family photos or fall engagement photos. I love this cognac colored skirt, but it also comes in a wine color that is just gorgeous! Plus, suede is very on trend for fall. The best part about it, it’s super affordable. I’ve linked everything below!

Pink Free People Sweater

Pumpkin season is quickly coming to an end. It feels like it just started. So sad! One thing that is always on my bucket list for fall is a trip to the pumpkin patch. This year we went to Bakers Acres in Tishomingo. It’s great for kiddos but also makes for a perfect date night! Outfit details linked below.

When we travel to Tish, we usually detour through one of the nearby towns for lunch or dinner. This trip we decided to stop at The Rusty Nail Winery in Sulphur, OK. They have delicious wine and great appetizers. Definitely a must if you’re traveling through Southern OK!

Game Day Series: Football Tee

Hey hey, friends! We are currently watching the first NFL game of the season while I’m typing this! I could not be happier. I seriously eat this stuff up. This week for the Game Day Series post, I decided to share a tee that supports football in general, rather than a specific team. It’s perfect for a college or professional game, not so much high school considering it has the word “beer” on it, haha! But I have a cute tee for high school games I’ll post soon. Enjoy your weekend and good luck to you and your favorite teams!

FYI, if you can’t tell from the photo, this tee says “drink beer watch football”. My photographer, aka Billy forgot to mention the fact that my hair was covering up my tee in all of the pics we took. Ha! This tee is from RiffRaff, a boutique in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I may or may not have made Billy road trip with me once to Fayetteville just so I could go to this boutique in person after shopping it online for years. The town is darling and they have THE best game day tees. I’ll link this one below.

Game Day Series: Orange Tee- Go Pokes!

Happy Orange Thursday, friends! This is the second post of the game day inspired series! The first outfit I posted was a cute dress option for an OU game, you can find it here. So, naturally on this beautiful college game day an orange look just seems right! This top comes off as a coral (ish) color in the photos but it’s truly orange. This look is laid back and comfortable. Perfect for tailgating and rooting on the Cowboys! Enjoy and go pokes!

Mumu Thatcher Tie Top

Hey friends! Happy Tuesday. Yesterday we celebrated Billy’s 27th birthday! I cannot believe we are so old. When I was a teenager, I thought I would have kids and a big house by 26. But now, I’m just trying to take things day by day. We’re extremely happy about where we are in life right now. We’ve both been employed at jobs we love for over a year. Billy works as a relationship banker at First United Bank and I’m a social worker at Norman Regional Hospital. We’re very happy with where our careers are. I’m under supervision for my clinical license and love my mentor/supervisor Whitney. We have a cute little home in Norman with our fur babes. Life is good. I couldn’t ask for anything more. We are so thankful for our health, our family and one another.

Billy is an easy guy to please. I took him to Saltgrass for dinner (his preference). We came home and he watched football on TV. Pretty much his idea of a perfect night. Good steak and football, who can blame the guy? I’ve linked the outfit I wore to our date down below. This blush/rose top is flowy perfection. I definitely recommend sizing once size down. It’s originally $140 and on sale for $98!

Cashmere Poncho

I know it’s hard to begin thinking of fall outfits considering it’s 90 degrees out, ha! But, I’m a believer that you can never be too prepared. Personally, I typically seem to find the best fall finds in July and August. If I find a good deal on a sweater or pair of boots, I snag them immediately because I know come October or November, they’ll be sold out. Growing up my mom only let me shop the current season. I know it’s because I got bored with clothes once the new wore off, so if I bought it to wear the next season, I probably wouldn’t like it anymore once that season came. But, as an adult, I’ve found that you find the best deals and styles before the season even begins. Most of the time, anyway. I think a big part of this, is because of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I bought so many cute things but haven’t been able to share them until now because so many things sell out so quickly. One of my favorite pieces, is this Halogen Cashmere Poncho. Even though it’s not on sale, I still consider it to be pretty affordable for cashmere. It’s perfectly oversized and cozy for cold weather. I can’t wait to wear this in fall. Soft Bell Sleeve Top

Guys, bell sleeve tops are super hard for me to turn down lately! I think they’re so cute and fun. I wanted to link this one below before it sells out. It’s the perfect taupe color and so so soft. It can be worn on its own, but I think it would be really cute with a utility vest for fall. It’s a really good transitional piece, I definitely think it could be paired with jean or white shorts until it cools off enough for jeans. Speaking of jeans, these AG Jeans are my absolute favorite pair and I wear them constantly. They’re the perfect medium wash. I love that they’re so stretchy and comfortable. They are also linked below. Lastly, I highly recommend these booties! They have a very small heel, they’re perfect for walking long distances. Shoes of all kinds seem to give me blisters but these have been gentle on my feet so far! The taupe color is great for fall, they’re the perfect fall staple.

Topshop Look Alike

I’m one of those girls who go crazy for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale every year. I literally purchase my whole fall wardrobe in just a few days. This Topshop sweater instantly caught my eye. But, apparently it caught everyone’s eye because it sold out super fast. Since then I’ve watched it come in and out of stock. Mostly, out of stock. I’ve finally found one that’s super similar and have linked it below!
